Join Houston Black Hikers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for Cast & Connect, a relaxing and engaging outdoor experience designed to bring people together through fishing, nature, and community.

Taking place at Sheldon Lake State Park, this beginner-friendly experience gives participants the opportunity to enjoy traditional cane pole fishing while surrounded by the beauty of the park’s lake, wetlands, wildlife, and scenic outdoor spaces.
